Azar received her BSc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering after wrapping up her studies by a digital design of a transmitter/receiver interface in Verilog HDL. Her interest in interdisciplinary research that involves engineering solutions to medical problems best fit Assoc. Prof. Sema Dumanlı’s research labs, BOUNtenna and AntennAlive. She is doing her MSc. thesis under the supervision of Dr. Dumanlı at the Electrical Engineering department of Boğaziçi University and is trying to realize the pH sensing of GI tract, making use of a wireless capsule antenna.
