Ahmet Bilir has received IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Eugene F. Knott Memorial Pre-Doctoral Research Grant

2023 has started with awesome news. We are informed that Ahmet Bilir has been selected to receive the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Eugene F. Knott Memorial Pre-Doctoral Research Grant.
Ahmet Bilir is an undergraduate researcher at BOUNtenna studying biodegradable implant antennas and sensors.
We are proud to host brilliant young researchers at our lab and wish to encourage more. Note that this is the second F. Knott Grant received by BOUNtenna, Kadircan Gödeneli being the first.
“The IEEE APS Eugene F. Knott Memorial Pre-Doctoral Research Grant is established to encourage students to pursue a career in the area of electromagnetic in electrical engineering or a related field at an accredited institution of higher learning. These grants are intended to support pre-doctoral students involved in research directed by a faculty member at their institution who is a member of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society. These grants are named in memory of IEEE Life Fellow, Eugene F. Knott, who was well known for his contributions to the theory, reduction, and measurement of radar cross section.”
